English 4 Work English 4 Work began as a final project by graduate student Larry Zoumas (MSc, University of London) back in 2001. For nearly 20 years, we offered a simple, free service. Then, in 2020, we decided to take things to the next level, transforming into the SaaS (Software as a Service) platform you see today.

Why? Because we continuously strive to deliver, improve, and extend high-quality content for educators and students to use. This includes engaging and relevant resources, units, activities, and a pedagogically valuable e-learning system provided through our platform.

Our small, fully remote team has developed a truly global TEFL platform, with a clear focus on Workplace English and ESP (English for Specific Purposes) across various industries.

Today, we are proud to support a community of over 45,000 teachers and 200,000 students worldwide.

We work tirelessly to bring high-quality English language education to as many people as possible. In the near future, we aim to cover more industries and continuously expand our content to empower educators and encourage self-learning.
